The homeowner, faced with an overgrown backyard, sought a clean, upgraded space for hosting events and spending time with grandchildren. With a love for red hues, the planting palette was tailored to their preferences. The design included grading adjustments and a soft, walkable area with a flagstone pathway bordered by dymondia, creating a more spacious feel. A key focus was restoring existing features, including making the water fountain functional and maintaining it for future use. During the project, significant wear was noted on the shade structure, leading to the addition of a new shade structure to enhance the space and ensure long-term durability.
